The Role
We're scaling past our current revenue threshold, and our accounting function needs to scale with it. This role starts with full ownership of day-to-day accounting; record keeping, reconciliations, and outsourced AP/AR oversight, working closely with our VP of Finance and our outsourced bookkeeping team. Over the next 12-18 months, as you demonstrate ownership, this role is designed to grow into full responsibility for month-end and year-end close, audit management, and tax compliance.

If you want to build real infrastructure at a company still small enough to move fast, and grow into a Controller-level role in the process, this is that opportunity.

What You’ll Own
•    Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both physical and electronic. Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
•    Oversee outsourced AP, AR, and invoicing with clear controls and KPIs
•    Maintain balance sheet integrity and fixed assets
•    Lead month end and year end close
•    Prepare GAAP compliant financial statements
•    Support annual audit and manage tax compliance
•    Partner cross functionally across the organization
•    Identify and implement AI and automation tools to eliminate manual work in reconciliations, reporting, and close

What We’re Looking For
•    Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
•    3+ years progressive accounting experience
•    Strong GAAP foundation
•    Manufacturing or inventory experience preferred
•    High ownership mindset and proactive communication
•    ERP fluency. QuickBooks and Acctivate a plus. Strong excel skills
•    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze financial data, identify errors or discrepancies, and take appropriate corrective actions.
•    Positive ‘can do’ mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small company environment.
•    Inherently believes in our core values.

This role is on-site at our company headquarters in Denver, CO. Travel requirements are minimal.

Benefits include flexible time off, majority company funded health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and a 401(k) with an employer defined match up to 4%.
