The Role
We are upgrading our accounting function to support the next phase of scale at a <$100M business. This role is designed to evolve into full ownership of backward-looking accounting, with a clear growth path.

The Role
We are upgrading our accounting function to support the next phase of scale at a <$100M business. This role is designed to evolve into full ownership of backward-looking accounting, with a clear growth path.
What You’ll Own
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both physical and electronic. Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Oversee outsourced AP, AR, and invoicing with clear controls and KPIs
- Maintain balance sheet integrity and fixed assets
- Lead month end and year end close
- Prepare GAAP compliant financial statements
- Support annual audit and manage tax compliance, with path to lead these functions.
- Partner cross functionally across the organization
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 3+ years progressive accounting experience
- Strong GAAP foundation
- Manufacturing or inventory experience preferred
- High ownership mindset and proactive communication
- ERP fluency. QuickBooks and Acctivate a plus. Strong excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze financial data, identify errors or discrepancies, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Positive ‘can do’ mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small company environment.
